Active Brake ASSIST

Active Brake ASSIST improves driver and pedestrian safety by giving audible and visual alerts in the face of oncoming danger, taking over and braking autonomously if necessary – critically, the system also recognises and responds to pedestrians and stationary objects.

Active Distance ASSIST DISTRONIC ( Optional )

Reduce driver strain and maintain safe distances effortlessly – Active Distance ASSIST DISTRONIC maintains a safe distance between the Vito and the vehicle in front, accelerating and braking with a maximum of half the system’s braking power.

Attention ASSIST: Keeping you switched on

Stay focused and in control with ATTENTION ASSIST, the safety feature that uses steering wheel sensors to pick up on typical signs of drowsiness and alert the driver through audio and visual signals. Included as-standard on the new, evolved Vito Crew Van.

Collision Prevention ASSIST: Keeping you at a safe distance

The Collision Prevention ASSIST feature keeps you safe by constantly monitoring the roads ahead and warning you if the distance to the vehicle ahead is insufficient.

CROSSWIND ASSIST: Keeping you safe in high winds

Crosswind ASSIST detects instability caused by strong winds, and automatically applies the brakes in order to stabilise the vehicle. Using ADAPTIVE ESP® sensor technology, the system increases safety for both the driver and other road users.

Lane Keeping ASSIST: Making sure you stay on track (Optional)

Using a camera inside the windscreen to register lane markings, and an intelligent monitoring system to determine whether or not a lane change is deliberate, Lane Keeping ASSIST will alert the driver through steering wheel vibrations and visual signals if it judges the vehicle to be drifting – ensuring the safety of both the driver and other road users.

Reversing Camera

The new, evolved Vito Crew Van’s reversing camera is linked to the 7” screen on the Audio 30 head unit, giving drivers greater visibility of obstacles behind the vehicle, making reversing safer.
