We are actively seeking a talented Auto Electrician to join our team in Peterborough. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to enhance their career while working with premium Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

The Role:

As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in Mercedes-Benz vans and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical fault diagnosis and repairs using advanced diagnostic tools.

• Maintain, repair, and install electrical wiring, control systems, and vehicle components.

• Work on both van and truck electrical systems, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards.

• Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure timely and efficient service.

• Participate in a structured training pathway, progressing from basic to advanced knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicle systems, including electric vehicle technologies

About You:

We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who thrives on learning and professional growth.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical fault finding and diagnostics, preferably within the automotive or commercial vehicle sector.

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and electrical schematics.

• A willingness to engage in extensive training, from basic to advanced levels.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• A full UK driving licence (HGV licence is a plus).
