Intercounty Truck & Van Ltd is a successful Mercedes-Benz franchise with 20 years experience of providing excellent sales and aftersales service. We have 5 sites across central England plus a number of workshops that are dedicated to our large fleet customers, repairing mixed fleets of vehicles including trailers and ancillary equipment.

Our continued success means we are currently looking to recruit a Workshop Account Manager to join our team in the commercial vehicle sector.
The ideal candidate will understand the HGV workshop environment and will be responsible for managing the relationship with our client.
You need good listening and communication skills to understand and interpret our customer requirements, and IT skills to present reports and business information.
Knowledge of HGV compliance and legalities is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
Identify new business trends and opportunities in the Commercial HGV sector
Meet with customers and workshop teams to share information and resolve any issues
Achieve growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Prepare and deliver repots and presentations to customers.
Negotiate agreements with customers and partners.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Sales Skills: Develops new business, identifies and sells to customer needs, has good listening skills, is sensitive to customers, delivers effective presentations, negotiates well, uses closing skills appropriately.
Requirements:
Experience of the HGV Commercial Automotive sector and related technologies.
Strong communication, IT, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
